custom newscaster strategy in action
IDAHO TIME
Our established strategies are developed by journalists turned communications managers working for government agencies like the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation. When the agency had a new camping reservation system to roll out, Custom NewsCaster skillsets were behind the development of quick branding upgrades, video content, social media posts, news releases and quick social engagement that won earned media coverage and public support. It all started with two simple words: IDAHO TIME.
-
Discover the story
“Delivering the Idaho Experience – Parks and Recreation Style” showed the value, while IDAHO TIME said it all: Time spent enjoying IDPR’s Idaho is valuable and unique and is in high demand. Past time in history, in the moment, and in the future is protected and preserved because of the dedicated work of IDPR employees.
-
build the foundation
The 30 Parks in 30 Days campaign brought together the many parks and social media platforms in having a consistent tone and visual approach to outreach. This re-established public awareness of the value and demand for camping and other experiences in Idaho State Parks prior to the new reservation system launch.
-
craft the content
The extra step of creating videos showcasing state parks staff and the customer service provided by IDPR employees as the new system rolled out increased public trust. This type of content significantly boosts the reach of social media and makes it easier for the news media to cover IDPR.
